John Hamrock of Ancestor Network Speaking at Family & Local History Fair at the Public Records Office of Northern Ireland (Belfast Briefing: The 10-day World Police & Fire Games could attract up to 25,000 visitors)

John Hamrock of Ancestor Network will be speaking on two topics at the Family and Local History Fair being hosted by the Public Records Office of Northern Ireland.  This is an exciting venue and part of the events surrounding the 10 day World Police and Fire Games being hosted in Belfast where about 25,000 people are expected to visit Northern Ireland.

On Saturday, August 3rd, John Hamrock, who is Director of Education and Social Inclusion of the Genealogical Society of Ireland will give a presentation on the goals and activities of the Society.  In the second talk on Sunday, August 4th, John will speak about some of the genealogical events taking place in Ireland as part of The Gathering Ireland 2013 where Ancestor Network has been actively involved.  These include 'Bratacha' of the festival of Flags which took place in Dun Laoghaire in May, the ongoing Kerry Genealogy Roadshow and the upcoming Monaghan Genealogy Training programmes taking place in Monaghan and Carrickmacross in October
