Press Release
Saturday, March 14th, 2015
Free genealogy advisory
service in the National Library of Ireland 2015.
Eneclann and Ancestor Network
achieve a
‘Texas Hat-trick’
Our panel of
genealogists will work alongside the Library's own dedicated staff members - Fran Carroll and Christina McDonnell -
to deliver the service.
Earlier this week,
Ciara Kerrigan of the National Library said:
"We're
very pleased to welcome back Eneclann and Ancestor Network. We expect 2015 to
be one of our busiest years ever."
Project Manager
Eileen O Duill added:
"The
free Genealogy Service is available to all visitors. As an American ex-pat in Ireland, I’m
especially keen to reach out to overseas visitors. You’re part of what we are, and we’re here to
help you with your research.”
John Hamrock of Ancestor Network added:
“Due to the growing popularity of the National Library programme, the
service has been extended from 18th of March to the 31st
of October and throughout much of this period we will have extra genealogists
on duty to meet the demand from visitors for top notch expert advice on Irish
family history research questions.”
The genealogy service is
available six days a week,
Monday to Wednesday: 9.30am
to 5.00pm,
Thursday and Friday: 9.30am
to 4.45pm,
Saturday: 9.15am to
12.45pm.
We will be in the library
between the 18th March and 31st October.
The genealogy advisory
service is a free service, available to all visitors to the Library.
